The junction of two great rivers is an ideal place to arrange to meet people. We arrived in Koblenz on a river boat and we had a while to wait so we went for a walk to the statue and to people watch.

Lovely spot on the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle. Well worth a visit and to sit and watch the rivers.

Lovely area situated in the Koblenz region. A few hours spent here are a few hours well spent. Its great location on the Rhine makes for an unforgettable experience and the opportunity to take some amazing photographs!

It was good to see where the Rhine and the Mosel meet. The area is good to stroll around and sit and there were a couple of street entertainers. The walk beside both rivers is pleasant. The imposing statue adds to the area.

This is in a great spot, right on the junction where the mighty Rhien and Mosel meet, there is a campsite right opposite this monument , and of a night the beauty of these rivers and the Ehrenbreitstein fortress is breathtakingly beautiful.

Koblenz means confluence, and you really understand that when you get to the Deutsche Eck, stand at the point and see the Rhin and the Mosel get together. It really is a great view. besides you have a beautifull sight of the the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. There is also a huge equestrian statue of Káiser William I, really big. The pretiest sight is on the Rhine side since on the Mosel side the pretiest views are more into the Mosel river.

once seen never forgotten, the Kaiser on his horse, guarding the confluence of the rhine and moselle. not many others there that day as very cold and wet, you can climb the steps at each side of the monument to see the rivers and surrounding area, and you can actually go in under the statue higher up but we decided not to at that time, the only downside there were a lot of empty wine, and other bottles in the sheltered areas there, obviously the remains of a few locals who use the niches for sleeping rough. but none there at that time. a very imposing monument. and just along the walkway along the moselle are 3 wall panels reputedly brought from berlin when the wall came down.

It is a nice place for a fresh-air stroll along the River Rhine, lovely flowery parks. It is at the point of confluence of both River Moselle and Rhine. You have a nice view of both rivers.

Great place for strolling. Plenty of souvenir shops, restos and a few more attractions nearby so it's worth it. It was an awesome experience to see two rivers meet and yet don't blend. It's an awesome sight to behold from above the cable car which we also tried. We climbed up its top and the view just got better up there.

you will have a great view when you are at the triangle. Special place for Rhein.

All I would say, the only thing that would take me to Koblenz was the German Corner. It was quite quiet at this time of the year and you don't feel it's cold even strolling for more than 20 minutes along the river banks seeping Gluhwein. The stature is immense and very impressive. Occasional street artists along the banks add to the romantic setting of this tourist attraction.Really enjoyable trip.

We were on a coach trip for the Christmas markets and one of our trips out was Koblenz, there we saw this immense statue set on a monument, the person concerned was William the 1st, riding a horse. The "ECK" is German for corner, as it is the headland where the Rhine meets the Moselle. On the monument are the shields/coats of arms of all the German states. You can not miss this monument it is absolutely HUGE, and it is well worth the walk up to the top to see it in all it's glory, and the view from the top is spectacular.
