My husband and kids and I went here for an afternoon and really enjoyed it. Kids had a blast and it was extremely. Informative.

There's quite a lot going on in this Geo Centre so my advice would be to allow two to three hours — unless of course you have small children. Well worth a visit.

We visited during our visit to St John's. The displays and information boards around the different parts very interesting. We both found the Titanic display fascinating.

The space and geology displays seemed out dated and many interactive displays didn't work. The oil industry exhibit was heavy on propaganda but quite informative, bright and cheerful. I was entranced by the Titanic exhibit as it gave so much local detail. Every bit needs to be read. I enjoyed this outing but it seemed a bit expensive for what it was.

My partner and I visited the Geo Centre during our visit to St. John's in October, 2014. We planned to spend about 2 hours there, but ended up staying for 5! There were many interesting exhibits to view and interact with. We appreciated that the learning was multi-modal - there were parts of each exhibit that were viewed, listened to, and were also touchable (especially the rocks and minerals)! Would recommend!

I visited this museum at the end of a walk around Signal Hill. Partially because I was interested but also because I needed to warm up:)I'm so glad I did.The museum has an awful lot of geological information about the area and also about oil & gas. It's got one of the best explanations of how oil and gas are formed and recovered that I have seen. The geological part is very interesting and puts everything into context. Using sand grains to show the age of things is brilliant. There are movies and such like to watch and a good little shop:)Well worth the entrance fee.

My daughter and I went to visit this attraction. We were amazed at the quality of the services and facilities. The presentations were interesting and very informative. My daughter enjoyed the Titanic exhibit. The movie with Gordon Pinsett narrating was a nice touch of home. The center was constructed around the rock formation and is one of the oldest rocks in North America. It would have been great to see the attraction for two days but we only planned for one. Definitely will visit again next year. This attraction depends on the generosity of public donations and the Jonson family trust. Worth the cost of admission.

We could easily have spent two days there. There is so much to see. I especially liked the Titanic exhibit, so informative and well done.

I found the Johnson Geo Centre a great place to bring the kids and enjoy. Only problem I had was when the narrator began stating that we evolved from apes. Personally, I don't believe in the "theory" of evolution so if you don't either, better bring your beliefs with you on this trip. They really should change their story.

Before you even step into the building you are amazed at the design of it. The walks/trails on the outside are informative and provide wonderful views of the beauty of St. John.

This is without doubt one of the best Science museums I have visited anywhere. Apart from the amazing eco building itself the range, variety and presentation of the various displays is impressive. Information is presented using a variety of techniques and there is something for all age groups. There is lots of seating areas available and it was worth the entrance fee. My only regret was that I did not purchase some gifts in the very appealing gift shop. The restaurant was closed for the winter which was a pity.

We stopped here to waste a rainy miserable day and ended up staying a couple of hours. Pretty interesting displays, unique building and some interesting movies. It's on the way up to Signal Hill so very easy to find

This museum has several theaters where you can view features, plus several small "coves" within the museum where you can sit and watch a short film. Makes it easy to spend more time in the space because you're not always on your feet. Good for kids and adults.

We spent about 2 hours here but could have spent many more. Well done and was a nice compliment to our tour of Signal Hill. Only about 5 minutes away from Signal Hill and Cabot Tower.
